Kessil

Kessil is an LED company based in San Francisco, California.  Kessil started out with three UC Berkeley graduates: a biological, computer programmer, and physicist.  Together, they created revolutionary LED fixtures that are the standard to be measure of all LEDs in the market.  At Aquarium Store Depot, we highly recommend their products for anyone looking to build a reef tank system.  Kessils can handle all types of reef tanks from soft coral tanks all the way to heavily stock SPS tanks.  If you have a reef tank, there is a Kessil model suited for your needs.

The best thing we like about Kessils is you do not have to worry about the science of lighting. They have figured out the science for you so you just buy right number of fixtures you need, mount them, and you are good to go.  Kessils are a quality made product and provide that shimmering you would get with metal halide lights without the wattage demands.
