Ocean Revive T247-B Features
The Ocean Revive T247-B offers a full spectrum reef led light with a remote controller and battery. It comes equipped with adjustable brackets so you can fit it to various tank setups or you can opt for the hanging kit comes included.
The light comes equipped with a timer feature and a slick, more modern design that you don’t see with budget friendly lights. The fans are located at the top of the of the unit. The fans run quietly and will blend in with other equipment running in the tank. The light is only about 5 lbs, making it easier to mount to ceilings or canopies.
T5 Hybrid Ready for Stickheads and Large Tanks
Contrary to belief, Ocean Revives can be fitted on T5 Hybrid fixtures like the Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid fixture. You will need to use Aquatic Life’s extension (Item# 470536. The Ocean Revive units fit right into the universal mounting with no addition adapters for a very clean look! Note that the using the Aquatic Life hybrid system with the Ocean Revive is best with tanks over 23 inches in width.

Great light for my 180
I have a 180 gallon tank running three of these that I got from Mark. I had 3 hydra units and 1 of them died on me after 2 years. The price of a set of 3 Ocean Revives from Mark was less than a single replacement hydra 52 so I purchased 3 of these and sold off my 2 remaining Hydras lol. I have a cabinet on my tank with two T5s as supplemental lighting. These lights were more than enough PAR to handle my mixed reef system. Once I checked the PAR readings from the meter I rented from my LFS, I was ready to go. My reef tank kept rolling without a hitch. These ocean revives do not have the smart phone app like my old Hydras, but there was no way in hell I was going to spend another $600+ on a new hydra after I had one crap out so quick on me. Just make sure you have a PAR meter handy from your LFS or a buddy because these lights are powerful and will need to be adjusted!

Very Happy with my T247s
I have a set of 4 of these lights in a heavily stocked 210 gallon tank. I’ve been running them since February of last year and have been happy with the grow of my corals. The corals are better than ever and I’m actually keeping SPS that are showing good growth under them. The unit comes with a two channel setup. I have the LEDs on the first channel set to 50% and the 2nd channel set to 35%. I have the lights hanging about 10″ from the water. The fans are super quiet and the lighting fixture and well built. It doesn’t look like your traditional bulky Chinese black box. It has a sleek design that won’t cheapen up the look of your tank. The only complaint I have is that the lighting system does not allow you to ramp up and ramp down the lights out of the box.
