These algae turf scrubbers offer a hinged fitted lid and all colored acrylic construction. Professionally constructed spray bar and mesh with ball value on inlet makes it easier to install or place. The scrubber already is designed to naturally block light bleed so you will not need to purchase additional light blockers in order to keep light out of your sump.

We have been producing algae turf scrubbers for nearly a decade with over 10,000 units on the field and used to make custom turf scrubbers for aquariums as large as 3,000 gallons! These IceCap Algae Turf Scrubbers come in three scalable sizes for your aquarium. Small is powered by 20W LEDs, Medium is 60W, and Large is 4 times 60W lights.

These scrubbers also have built in light blockers (no extra accessories needed!), quick disconnect PVC union fittings for ease of removal of the spray bar. All units come with an emergency backup drain.

    Awesome unit!!!

    I was ready to call it quits. I have used every kind of reactor and chemical and I was never successful. After talking to joe I decided to try the ATS he reccomended. My tank looks amazing. Fish and corals are much happier. I love it!!!!

    Reduced phos and nitrates

    If your having any issues with phospates and nitrates buy this scrubber, if you have ever had a coral die due to a swing in nutrients, buy this scrubber. Before my scrubber my 300 gallon total system was having a phospate rise of. 02 ppm per day Hannah checker. Running gfo constantly and macro kept it at bay but constant changing alk and unstable nutrients were not ideal for sps. Now that I have the scrubber nitrate and phospate stay at 0 on my Hannah checker always and I haven’t had a coral die in about a year since buying this. Acros, montis, soft and LPS in my tank all thriving. If you think your corals and your fish don’t appreciate stable, low nutrient water you are mistaken. This scrubber also allows me to broadcast feed my corals and fish now further increasing the size and colors of them. If I had to keep one piece of equipment on my tank this scrubber is my number 1 choice.

    I took all chemical filtration and filter socks off…only use my skimmer for aeration and my tank had NEVER looked better!! Joey is the man!!
